Hebei Engineering and Technical College
Hebei Engineering and Technology College is located in the coastal open city of Cangzhou, and is a comprehensive engineering college directly under the Education Department of Hebei Province. The predecessor of the school was the Hebei Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering School established by the Hebei Provincial Department of Water Resources in Tianjin in 1952, which was the earliest water conservancy school established in North China at that time. In 1955, it was renamed as "Tianjin Water Conservancy School in Hebei Province". In 1958, it moved to Baoding City and was upgraded to a higher education institution, named "Hebei Institute of Water Resources and Electric Power". In 1960, it was renamed "Hebei Institute of Water Resources". In 1966, it moved to Gangnan Reservoir in Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang and was renamed as "Hebei Water Conservancy Engineering College". In 1970, with the approval of Hebei Province, the school was relocated to Cangzhou City and named "Hebei Water Conservancy College". In 1992, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, it was renamed as "Hebei Engineering and Technology College"....
Hebei Normal University
Hebei Normal University is a provincial-level key university with a century old history and glorious tradition. The school originated from Shuntianfu School, founded in Beijing in 1902, and Beiyang Women's Normal School, founded in Tianjin in 1906. In June 1996, the former Hebei Normal University and Hebei Normal College merged with the Hebei Education College founded in 1952 and the Hebei Vocational and Technical Normal College founded in 1984 to form the new Hebei Normal University.
